Creamy Garlic Parmesan Penne

Doesn’t the title itself just make your mouth water? This is one of my FAVORITE dishes to make. It’s simple, fast, and delicious!


  • Penne pasta
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons garlic salt
  • 3 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 Cup Parmesan Shredded Cheese (or more if you would like)

Start cooking the pasta and while the pasta is cooking make the sauce.

Step One:   In a sauce pan melt butter then add garlic salt. Allow time for it to cook together.

Step Two:   Add flour to the melted butter and whisk together.

Step Three:   Whisk in milk and broth and continue to whisk until well combined.

Step Four:   Bring sauce to a boil and let set until sauce has thickened.

Step Five:   Drain cooked pasta and put into a bowl. Pour sauce over pasta and mix. Once mixed, add cheese and stir until cheese has melted.

Mmmmm…. creamy garlic Parmesan penne! I like to add chicken to mine just so I have a protein but that is all preference.
